The Maloof Money Cup was one of the biggest events in skateboarding. My team was involved in bringing the world’s first street and vert skateboarding to the masses with over $250K in prize money in collaboration with Maloof Sports and Entertainment. We had the honor to work with course designers Rob Dyderk, Geoff Rowley, Danny Way, California Skate Parks, and the Maloof Team in bringing a new fresh approach to skateboarding competitions. This was prior to Rob Dyderk’s Street League and before XGames brought in real concrete obstacles to their events. Working in Las Vegas with the Maloof’s made this one of my favorite projects of all time.
